Coffee Cup Recycling

All-Energy Australia is proud to announce its partnership with Simply Cups in 2018.

Paper coffee cups typically have a thin plastic (polyethylene) liner which creates a liquid-proof barrier to contain the liquid contents of the cup. This liner has prevented the paper fibres from being recovered and results in millions of cups being sent to landfill every year in Australia rather than being recycled. To recycle coffee cups effectively, they need to be collected as a clean waste stream.

At All-Energy Australia there will be designated collections tubes throughout the event which will be collected daily. Whilst visiting All-Energy Australia, be sure to participate in this opportunity to help save millions of cups from going to landfill.
